My Banana Tale!
Hi and welcome to my Bananalicious website! My name is Safiah and I live in tropical and sunny Kuala Lumpur the capital city of Malaysia. I've always enjoyed baking and cooking especially dessert recipes. As I'm the eldest daughter in my family, I was always asked (actually, "forced"!) to help out in the kitchen when my mom was cooking. My mom used to cook tons of stuff from cakes, donuts to gulab jamuns and pooris (Pakistani snacks) over the weekends as she was a working mom. She would store the cakes and snacks in airtight containers for my siblings and I to eat over the following week for afternoon tea after school activities. Great way to feed ever-hungry growing teenagers! I learned the joys of cooking at a very young age.I love experimenting and creating my own recipes. Some worked out great but some ended up being complete disasters!
I've always liked Bananas and Banana desserts. Have you noticed how cooked Bananas have a very distinctive taste and it's so rich and yummy? Also, you can actually make all kinds of dessert with Banana as a filling?
