Muffins

Muffins... I love Muffins...I especially adore Banana Muffins. They're so fluffy, soft and smells gorgeous when freshly baked.

The aroma that emanates through the house while they are baking is sure to entice every occupant into the kitchen. More effective than the Pied Piper!

Muffins are so easy to make and absolutely delicious with mocha or hot chocolate.

They can be served practically at all informal occasions like children's birthday parties, barbeques, family dinners and with girlfriends on a lazy afternoon with tea or coffee.

They're easy to make and you can add all sorts of ingredients into Muffins from fresh fruits, dried fruits to seeds and nuts.

History of Muffins

Muffins are said to have originated from Wales in the 10th or 11th century. It was baked on a griddle and yeast was used.

According to historians, American-style muffins used chemical-developed raising agents and were baked in molds instead. That is probably how the modern muffin came to be--using baking powder and baked in muffin trays.
