Banana Smoothie Recipes
"Nutrition-Rich and Easy Banana Smoothies"
Here are TWO absolutely yummy and easy Banana Smoothie recipe that you can have practically anytime of the day.
I usually whip up a Banana Smoothie after a long hike or a particularly tough yoga class as it keeps the leg cramps away thanks to Banana's potassium-laden nutritional value.

Banana Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
4 small ripe bananas or 3 large ripe bananas
1 cup milk
1 cup plain yogurt
4 heaped tablespoons of low-fat vanilla ice-cream
10 ice cubes
cinnamon powder(optional)
Preparation
1. Blend everything except the cinnamon powder (if using) on low in an electric blender for 5 seconds. Continue for 5 seconds or so intervals until ice-cubes are crushed.
2. Continue blending for another minute.
3. Serve the Banana Smoothie sprinkled with cinnamon powder (if using).
Tips.
--You may also opt to add some honey to the Banana Smoothie if its not sweet enough.
--Alternatively, you may omit the vanilla ice-cream and add an extra cup of milk instead for an even healthier version.
--Do experiment and play around with the ingredients... you can substitute the plain yogurt with fruit yogurt and/or the vanilla ice-cream with chocolate ice-cream.
