Banana Crumble Recipe.


"Crumble Recipe -- Nice & Light"




If you're pressed for time and have guests coming over, make this ultra quick and light Banana Crumble Recipe.

Prepare the crumble topping in advance while the Base can be done just before serving.

A fast, low-calorie and delicious banana dessert recipe!

Banana Crumble Recipe.

Ingredients.

This recipe serves 8.

Crumble Topping

1 pack /170 g oatmeal biscuits

30 g softened butter/margarine.

Base

30 g butter/margarine

500 g ripe bananas, cut into slices

30 g soft brown sugar

100 ml orange juice

1 tbsp orange zest

Yogurt topping

1 cup / 250 g plain low-fat yogurt

2 tbsp honey.

Preparations.

1. Mix crushed biscuits with butter with clean fingers until combined. Set aside.

2. Melt butter in a pan over low heat and add the sliced bananas.

3. Add sugar slowly, working gently for about 3 minutes whilst turning the bananas until slightly browned.

4. Gently pour in juice and cook bananas for a further 2-3 minutes or til the bananas are slightly softened.

5. Add orange zest and turn off heat immediately. Stir to combine and set aside.

6. Place in equal amounts the banana mixture between 7-8 small bowls and top up with crumble mixture.

7. Mix yogurt and honey in a bowl and stir until combined. Spoon generously over each bowl. Serve immediately.
