Chocolate Banana Cheesecake
"A decadent chocolate cheesecake recipe"
Here's yet another utterly delicious Chocolate Banana Cheesecake Recipe using chocolate, bananas (of course!) and sour cream. Chocolate Banana Cheesecake Ingredients 180 g plain chocolate biscuits 90 g butter, melted For Filling 375 g cream cheese 2/3 cup soft brown sugar 3/4 cup mashed bananas 2 tablespoon cornflour 3 eggs 1 tablespoon rum or 1 tablespoon orange juice 2 tablespoon sour cream 80 g dark cooking chocolate, melted whipped cream 1 banana, sliced. Preparation 1. Line a 23 cm square tin with aluminium foil. Brush the base and sides with oil.
2. Crush biscuits until fine. You may use a food processor or place the biscuits in a ziplock bag and smash it with a heavy spoon or ladle until fine. 3. Transfer crushed biscuits to a bowl and add melted butter. Mix until well-combined. 4. Press into the base of the tin and refrigerate until firm. To make filling: 5. Preheat oven to moderate 180 celsius. Using electric beaters, beat the cheese until light and creamy. 6. Add sugar, banana and cornflour, beat until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 7. Add rum or orange juice, sour cream and cooled chocolate. Beat until well combined. 8. Pour mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 45 minutes until set. 9. Cool and refrigerate until firm. 10. Cut into squares, decorate with whipped cream. Put one sliced banana on each square.
