Best Banana Pudding
"Sticky Date and Banana Pudding"
This is a delightful Best Banana Pudding recipe and with lovely texture due to it's main ingredients:- dates and bananas. The original recipe was too sweet so I have reduced the amount of brown sugar to make it more palatable. Sticky Date and Banana Pudding Ingredients. 320 g chopped dates 1 cup boiling water 2 teaspoons bi-carbonate soda 100 g soft butter 260 g brown sugar 8 eggs 270g plain flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 400 g chopped Bananas, approximately 3 large Bananas Caramel Sauce 300 ml cream (I prefer using whipping cream as it is smooth and light) 100 g butter 200 g brown sugar. Preparation. 1. Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius or 350 degree Fahrenheit. Grease a 24 cm cake tin. 2. Put dates into a bowl, pour boiling water to cover, sprinkle the bi-carbonate soda and set aside to cool.

3. Beat sugar and butter until light and well-combined. Add eggs one at a time while beating well. Make sure mixture is well-combined. 4. Fold in flour and baking powder, mix well. Add Bananas and dates.
Sticky Pudding Mixture ready for the oven.
5. Bake for 40 minutes until firm.
