Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe is a really easy-to-follow recipe and takes hardly any time at all. It's a fun family activity and you can enlist your kids' help to shape the cookies.


My mom used to insist all her children help her bake especially before major festivals and/or holidays. So, even my two brothers were ardent little bakers!


This recipe is easy to follow and does not take much of your time. What better way to impress guests...

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe.


Ingredients..

115 g butter, softened


50g caster sugar


110 g brown sugar


1 egg


1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence


170g plain flour


1/2 teaspoon soda bicarbonate


2 large bananas, mashed


a pinch of salt


170g chocolate chips.


Preparation.


1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.


2. With an electric mixer, cream the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.


3. In a separate bowl, mix the egg and essence, then gradually beat into the butter and sugar mixture. Sift the flour, soda and salt over the mixture and stir in circles until combined.


4. Add the mashed bananas, chocolate chips and mix well.


5. Place tablespoonfuls of the mixture on to a baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly coloured. Transfer to rack to cool.
